“When I ride the racing bike to work, the handlebar is overloaded with the holder for the heart rate monitor, the one for a small Garmin head unit for left/right balance and a light. Especially the holder for the light likes to get tangled with the brake and shift cables and is cumbersome to mount. Here the AiMonkeyGRIP came just right. Although my light has no Garmin Connector, I was able to mount the light with a screw on the AiMonkeyGRIP after a short drilling and filing work. So I’m rid of all conflicts with the cables and my hands have only more space on the handlebars. Since I charge the light and head unit at work, the whole disassembly is also done within a second.
Last weekend i subjected the AiMonkeyGRIP to an endurance test with the MTB: A tour over the Glas and Tomülpass. Both passes with rough descents. The AiMonkeyGRIP has survived this test with flying colors. The GRIP has never come off the BASE, although I savor all the jumps and drops. However, the holder has lowered slightly. But I still have a pre-series model and this finding is already addressed in the current models: There the BASE holds much better on the handlebar.
Who always has a “poof” on the handlebars or changes his devices much between different wheels, should look at such an AiMonkeyGRIP. He keeps exactly what he promises. In addition, unlike similar systems in the same weight segment, it is very stable and survives even rough off-road rides.
I am convinced of the AiMonkeyGRIP!”
